Policies

  1. Eligibility

    You must be actively enrolled in the programming course you are seeking help with. I am not taking private (non-course-related) tutoring requests at this time.

  2. Tutoring is online via Zoom

    All tutoring is done via Zoom. If you prefer to meet someone in person, please check with the Academic Success Center.

    Please test your computer's speakers and microphone before our appointment. If you need help getting set up with Zoom, please contact me.

  3. Cancellation an no-shows

    If you need to cancel and reschedule, please contact me as soon as possible. Please cancel at least 24 hours before your appointment.

    I will keep an appointment open for 15 minutes and if you have not joined the session OR contacted me I will end the session and consider it a no-show. Repeated last minute cancellations and/or no-shows may result in reduced access to tutoring. Please be courteous as there are other students who need appointment times.

  4. Preparedness

    You must have read the required reading for the work you want help with. I am not able to teach your course to you from scratch in the limited time we have for tutoring. If possible, please have questions ready for our appointment. You can even send me your questions ahead of time in the comment section when you create your appointment.
