FAQ's

  1. What do you tutor?

    I am currently tutoring select programming courses. Check your Canvas course to see if I am assigned to tutor you. If I'm not in your Canvas course feel free to contact me and ask if I can tutor you in your course.


  2. How much does it cost?

    There is no charge for students who are enrolled in an eligible course.


  3. I have questions about my course work but I don't want an appointment. Can I just email you?

    Yes. You can contact me with questions and I will be happy to help that way. Please use Canvas to contact me if you want to send me files to look at.


  4. How long are appointments?

    Appointments are scheduled for 25 minutes. If you think you need extra time you can contact me and we can discuss your needs.


  5. Where do we meet?

    All tutoring is done via Zoom. Once you make an appointment, you will receive the appointment information with the link to connect to your appointment in your Seminole State email.


  6. How do I get an appointment?

    You can request an appointment online or contact me. You must use your Seminole State College student email account to request an appointment online.


  7. How many appointments can I request?

    You can request up to 2 appointments at a time. If you have 2 upcoming appointments, please wait until after your upcoming appointment to request another appointment. This allows other students to have an opportunity to meet with me.


  8. Can we meet in person?

    I am only available for online appointments. If you prefer to meet someone in person, please check with the Academic Success Center.


  9. I have an appointment and need to change or cancel it, what do I do?

    Please reply to the message that contains your appointment information to request a cancellation or a new appointment time. Alternatively, you can contact me.


  10. I missed my appointment, what do I do?

    Please contact me about your missed appointment.
